What Do I Feed My Worms?

Worms love your food waste! But there are some kinds of food that will kill your worms as well as kinds of food you might want to avoid feeding your worms because of the rotting smell it will create.

Foods to Feed Your Worms

Vegetable scraps
Coffee grounds, coffee filters and tea bags
Spoiled food (after you clean out the refridgerator!)
Egg shells
Bread and pasta products
Cheese
Pretty much anything in your 'leftovers' from dinner (except meat)

Foods to Avoid

Too much citrus
Meat/bones

Non-Food Products to Avoid

Non-biodegradables (plastic, bottle caps, rubber bands, etc.)
Pet feces

Now that you know WHAT to feed them the next question is HOW to feed your worms.
